We all get overwhelmed with emotions and feelings from time to time. When this happens, it makes it easy to get stuck. I am here to help you develop skills that will give your feelings a voice and make it possible for you to experience life in a more meaningful and fulfilling way. 

After working with clients over the years I have come to realize that feelings have such a bad reputation. There's a stigma around being "emotional" that has been influenced by society. And, it really stems from how uncomfortable it is to be around someone when they are in distress. Unfortunately, distress is part of life - and part of our growth as a person.  In relationships, we need to be able to tell each other how we feel, honestly...even if it isn't pleasant. 

As a licensed MFT,  I can help you to give your feelings a voice.  I specialize in helping clients regulate their emotional experience and learn how to use their feelings as information as they encounter all the many things life throws their way.
